Who IS Donna Wright?

Donna Wright has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years and has been behind the success of many of today's largest musical groups and stars.

Donna Wright is known for making music history. Cutting her teeth with New Kids On The Block in the early 90's, it was a natural progression for Donna Wright to move to Orlando, FL, placing Wright Stuff management at the forefront of the teen pop explosion.

In 1993 she signed a group of 5 young men from Orlando, FL called, The Backstreet Boys. Using a combination of fearless management and complete dedication, Donna was able to help The Backstreet Boys become an international phenomenon selling over 11 million records, four top ten singles, and sold out concert venues in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

In 1996 they were awarded MTV Europe Viewers Choice Award, beating out acts like Oasis and Spice Girls. In 1997 America heard the first Backstreet Boys album—2 years after the rest of the world. Then they launched a tour in an effort to conquer their own country. Now backstreet Boys have sold over 100 million records, and have had 13 top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

1995 was the year for N’SYNC, and by 1996 the team maneuvered N’SYNC into a contract with BMG/Ariola label, and soon recorded their catchy debut single “I WANT YOU BACK” . As with Backstreet it was Europe who embraced NSYNC with open arms.

By 1998 N’SYNC was released in America. Performing for the Christmas Disney Special that Donna secured for them launched their career in the US in 1999, making them internationally known pop stars.

In 2000 Donna Wright stumbled across Alecia Moore aka “Pink” who had been sitting on the back shelf of Laface records. Donna then took her on. Within 8 months of managing Pink, she skyrocketed straight to the top with almost every pop radio station in the US playing her music. Yet another artist Donna's strong marketing techniques, strategic tactics, and fearless leadership took to the top.

Donna is always looking for fresh faces, and new voices that have the discipline, drive and dedication that it takes to climb to the top and she's here to guide, and help them, take those steps.
